Almost every person on the guest list showed up and was absolutely wowed by your hospitality. I greatly appreciate the time and effort you and your mother put into planning this big event for me. The decorations, catered menu, baby shower punch with floating gold stars, and the dessert table were straight out of a magazine. And if that wasn’t enough, you presented me with such an amazing gift – the jogging stroller of my dreams! Now when my baby is born we can meet up during the week and go jogging around the park together. It has been such great fun being pregnant at the same time as my BFF! And it was so wonderful that our co-workers planned a baby shower for the two of us. Thank you so much for the sweet Fisher-Price infant rocker. You need exactly what I needed. When we’re both on maternity leave I hope we can both find time to get together, share infant-care tips, and socialize. Attached are two wonderful new books on parenting that I read from cover-to-cover over two marathon weekends of reading when Josh was out of town for work. I hope you’ll enjoy them as much I did!

Thank you so much for dropping by to visit me and the baby today and bringing such a darling baby gift for Brooke. She looks so cute in the cozy little white sweater with a knitted pink flower broach. And I also appreciate the large wicker basket filled with gently used baby clothing from your daughter Nikki. Every single item looks brand spanking new! For my baby shower I received a truckload of newborn items and outfits sized 3-6 month, but not much clothing sized 9-18 months. So when the time comes these sweet hand-me-downs will get a lot of use! Thanks again for coming by to hang out with me for a bit. During the day when I’m home along with the baby I really miss having some adult interaction!
