Thank you for joining our family at my father’s Celebration of Life memorial service. Over the years he touched so many lives in a special way. Thank for attending and sharing heartfelt personal stories of the fun times you had together as teenagers growing up in New York. He would have enjoyed hearing those tales rehashed once again. And I bet he probably wouldn’t have been able to resist embellishing them just a little bit! In my mind’s eye I can see his handsomely rugged wide grin. We’ll place it in our garden next to the koi pond that he loved so much.

Celebration of Life Thank You Card

Thank you for reserving the clubhouse community center and making all the arrangements for food and beverage catering for our mother’s Celebration of Life reception. As you know this has been a very heartbreaking time, especially for my father. Having your help with this took a load off our shoulders. It allowed us to spend more time focusing on our dad’s needs and making the necessary arrangements at the funeral home and church. Because of you, Mom’s Celebration of Life gathering was incredibly special. We feel so grateful and honored that you provided the funding for a memorial bench with an engraved plaque for my parents at the city zoo. During their retirement years my parents loved volunteering at the zoo. Although no longer teachers in the classroom, they felt it was important to continue sharing information and knowledge about animals, the environment, and the importance of kindness.
