Thank You for the Scholarship

Dear _______________,

Thank you so much for selecting me as the recipient of your prestigious ________________ scholarship award. I feel very lucky and blessed to have been chosen by you for this great honor. I’d like you to know that I take my education very seriously. After graduating I look forward to using my skills to help at risk youth transition successfully into adulthood, and help homeless families get back on their feet. I was raised in an extremely cash-strapped middle-class family. Although my parents have always emotionally supported my college dreams they cannot help me pay for college. Because of your generosity my heavy financial load has been lightened. Thank you again for this incredible gift. My heart is filled with gratitude.

Sincerely,

I want to help both the community and state in which I live. Thank you so much for believing in me and my potential to succeed.
